Rooms: Collaboration and Management
Room Presentation Mode
Once a room is created, you can access it by clicking on the My Rooms tab on the homepage, then clicking on the name of the OC you want to review.
Some key callouts:
First, the chat icon (top right) takes you into a more collaborative space. Go here if you wish to add more OCs, access the files within the OC, or invite your colleagues to chat around the project.
Second, when you hover over the OC (middle of screen), you get the option to choose between jumping right into “Present” mode or restarting your presentation. If you choose the latter, you’ll start from the very beginning. Overview, no content opened, etc.
Room Collaboration Mode
Once you click on the chat icon on the top right, you are brought into collaboration mode. Didn’t mean to access this? Click the monitor icon to switch back to present mode.
The main screen in collaboration mode is divided into two sections, chat and room management.
On the left, you can view and share messages with the other people in the room.
Once you type a message in the chat box, you can turn it into a new group or link and drag it into an OC on the right.
On the right, you can manage the various assets and settings of the room with the right level of access.
This section allows you to view OCs and add them to the room. Clicking on the 3 dots on the bottom right of an OC lets you delete it or access its settings.
This section allows you to view and download available files in the room.
Click on an arrow next to a file to see more details about it.
This section allows you to see who else is in the room and their permission levels. This is also where you can invite more people to the room.
In this section, you can edit basic room settings or customize the presentation mode.
Scroll down to see the option to leave or archive the room, depending on your level of access.
Archived rooms will be stored in “Archived rooms” under the “My rooms” tab of the home page.
